Bakson Hamamelis Ointment are indicated in the following cases; bleeding piles, painful wounds, traumatic inflammation, chilblains and cracked heels.

Hamamelis virginiana, known as common or American witch-hazel is regarded as the aconite of veins and treats veneous congestion of every kind (vercositis), bad effects from bleeding , prostration etc. It acts upon the coats of the veins causing relaxation with consequent engorgement. It has anti-inflammatory properties, It soothes the skin immediately and reduces the healing time from sunburn, and help with preventing skin peeling and flaking.
